1. The 60-second summary

• Betloy is a code-conversion utility. We don't take bets, hold funds, or guarantee odds/payouts.
• You must be 18 or over to use the site.
• You're responsible for whether sports betting is legal in your jurisdiction. We don't decide that for you.
• Conversions are best-effort, ~88.72% clean. We flag legs we can't match — we don't silently swap them.
• Don't abuse the API, scrape the site, or try to break the conversion engine. We'll close your account.
• Refund policy: 14-day full refund on any annual plan; pro-rata on cancellation.
• Disputes go to mediation first, then Lagos courts. Some users have local consumer-protection rights that can't be waived — those still apply.

2. Who this contract is between

"Betloy", "we", "us" or "our" means African Sporting Technology, the Nigerian sport tech company that operates the Betloy brand and platform. "You" or "the user" means the individual or organisation accessing the betloy.com website, the Betloy Telegram bot, the Betloy REST API, the Betloy embeddable widget, or any other Betloy product or service.

By using any Betloy service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Betloy on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

Betloy is a sport tech platform — software utilities for bettors. We are not a sportsbook, bookmaker, casino, or gambling operator of any kind. Section 4 explains in detail what we are not.

3. What Betloy provides

Betloy is a software utility that converts sports-betting booking codes between supported bookmakers. The current product surface includes:

• The Bet Code Converter at betloy.com
• The Betloy Telegram Bot
• The Betloy REST API
• The embeddable Conversion Widget
• Adjacent tools (Odds Scanner, AI Bet Analyzer, Risk Trimmer, Bet Editor, Bet Viewer)
• Editorial content (blog, bookmaker reviews, glossary)

4. What Betloy is NOT

Betloy is a sport tech platform — software utilities for bettors. Betloy is NOT a sportsbook, casino, bookmaker, betting exchange, or any other kind of gambling operator. We do NOT:

• Accept bets or stakes from users
• Hold, process, transfer or custody customer betting funds
• Set odds, price markets, or guarantee any bookmaker's odds
• Pay out winnings
• Determine the outcome of sporting events or settle wagers
• Provide tipster services, predictions, "expert picks", or any form of betting advice
• Have access to your bookmaker accounts, login credentials, wallet balances, or transaction history
• Act as an agent of any bookmaker or take instructions from a user to place a bet on their behalf

What we do provide: software that reads publicly shareable booking-code references and surfaces useful information about them (the selections they contain, equivalent codes on other bookmakers, the current odds across the market). The actual betting always happens on the third-party bookmaker's own platform under that bookmaker's own terms. Whether you bet, where you bet, and how much you bet is entirely your decision.

Because we do not accept stakes or hold customer funds, the gambling-operator licensing regimes in any jurisdiction (e.g., NLRC in Nigeria, BCLB in Kenya, WCGRB in South Africa, UKGC in the UK) do not apply to Betloy. Where local rules require affiliate-marketer registration, we register accordingly.

5. Age & jurisdiction

You must be 18 or over to use Betloy. Some jurisdictions set a higher minimum gambling age (21+ in some US states, for example) — you're responsible for complying with whatever applies where you are.

Sports betting is legal in some jurisdictions, restricted in others, and prohibited in some. You're solely responsible for whether using a sports-betting service (including ours, and any bookmaker we link to) is legal where you are. We don't determine your jurisdiction; you do.

Betloy is currently primarily intended for users in regulated African markets where sports betting is legal — Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia and similar. We don't actively serve users in jurisdictions where sports betting (or the bookmakers our software references) are unlawful.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Betloy for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract the conversion engine
• Make automated requests beyond the rate limits published in the API documentation
• Resell access to Betloy without an explicit partnership agreement
• Use Betloy to launder bookmaker funds, evade jurisdiction restrictions, or facilitate money-laundering
• Impersonate another user, create accounts in someone else's name, or share account credentials
• Submit false / abusive content via blog comments, support emails, or partnership enquiries
• Attempt to compromise our infrastructure, exploit security vulnerabilities for malicious purposes, or interfere with other users' sessions

Violations result in account suspension. Egregious or repeated violations result in permanent account closure and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

We disclose security vulnerabilities responsibly via security@betloy.com — we do not pursue good-faith security researchers acting under our published bug-bounty terms.

7. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You're responsible for activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@betloy.com immediately.

You can close your account at any time from the account settings page. Closure deletes your personal data per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

8. Payment, credits & refunds

Free accounts get a monthly conversion allowance per the pricing page. Paid plans (Individual, Business) offer higher allowances and priority processing.

• Billing cycle: Monthly or annual (your choice). Annual billing is discounted vs. monthly.
• Refund policy: 14-day no-questions-asked full refund on any annual plan from the date of purchase. Monthly plans are non-refundable mid-cycle but you can cancel anytime to stop the next charge.
• Pro-rata on cancellation: Annual plans cancelled after the 14-day window get a pro-rata refund for unused full months.
• Currency: Prices shown in NGN by default. Other currencies converted at our payment processor's market rate.
• Tax: Prices are exclusive of VAT/sales tax where applicable.
• Failed payments: Three retry attempts over 7 days. After that, the account drops to free-tier limits until a successful payment.
• Credit expiry: Conversion credits expire 30 days after the billing cycle they were issued in. Unused credits don't roll over.

9. Intellectual property

The Betloy name, logo, conversion engine, content, and code are owned by Betloy Africa Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of Betloy beyond what's required for normal end-user use.

Quoting up to 200 words from a Betloy blog post or editorial page is permitted with credit and a link back. Bulk content syndication requires a written agreement — contact partners@betloy.com.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (booking codes, support emails, blog comments where applicable). By submitting, you grant Betloy a worldwide royalty-free licence to use that content in the operation of the service (e.g., displaying converted codes back to you).

10. Third-party bookmakers — important framing

Betloy is independent of every bookmaker named or referenced anywhere on this site. Unless explicitly stated, Betloy has no contractual, commercial, or operational relationship with any third-party bookmaker. We do not act as their agent, partner, or representative.

What Betloy does: our software references and indexes publicly available information about third-party bookmakers (booking-code formats, market types, league coverage, current odds visible on the operator's public-facing pages). This is the same kind of activity that price-comparison engines, search engines, and news aggregators perform — observing publicly available information and presenting it back to the user. We do not access non-public information, internal systems, or any bookmaker's private API.

Trademarks and brand names. All bookmaker names, logos, brand marks and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Betloy uses these marks under nominative fair use — the legally-recognised right to refer to a third party by its actual name in order to factually identify it. Use of a bookmaker's name on Betloy does not imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship or any other commercial relationship between that bookmaker and Betloy unless expressly stated on the page in question.

Data accuracy. Information about third-party bookmakers shown on Betloy (odds, market availability, welcome offers, payout speeds, licensing) is collected from publicly available sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always verify directly on the bookmaker's official site before placing a stake or relying on the information. Betloy makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of third-party data displayed on this site.

Disputes with bookmakers. Each bookmaker has its own terms, privacy policy, licensing and dispute-resolution processes. Betloy is not responsible for the actions, terms, payouts, settlement decisions, account bans, deposits, withdrawals or any other conduct of any third-party bookmaker. Any dispute arising from a bet you placed (or attempted to place) on a third-party bookmaker must be resolved with that bookmaker directly under their terms — Betloy cannot intervene.

Affiliate disclosure. Where Betloy does have an affiliate relationship with a bookmaker — meaning we earn a commission if you sign up via a link on our site — that link is flagged with rel="sponsored" per Google's guidelines. Affiliate commissions do not influence the methodology that determines ranking position on our Top Betting Sites pages. The existence of an affiliate relationship is the only commercial relationship between Betloy and the bookmaker; it does not constitute integration, partnership, or any kind of operational tie-in.

11. Disclaimers & "as-is"

Betloy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that conversion will always be successful or accurate (we publish 88.72% as the realistic rate)
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available 24/7
• Warranties about the conduct, payouts, or licensing status of any third-party bookmaker

Use Betloy at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Betloy's total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of Betloy is limited to the greater of (a) NGN 50,000 or (b) the total amount you paid Betloy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of betting winnings, missed bets, or losses arising from a bookmaker's actions.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limitations; in those cases the above applies to the maximum extent permitted.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Betloy, its directors, employees and agents against any claim, loss, or liability arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party rights, or (c) your misuse of the service.

14. Termination

You can stop using Betloy at any time. We can suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, with notice to your registered email except in cases of urgent security or legal necessity.

Upon termination: your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy retention schedule. Pro-rata refunds apply per Section 8. Sections 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.

15. Disputes & governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally goes to mediation in Lagos first; if mediation fails, the courts of Lagos State have exclusive jurisdiction.

Where local consumer-protection law (e.g., POPIA in South Africa, GDPR for EU users) gives you rights that override the above, those rights still apply.

16. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms occasionally. Material changes are notified by email to your registered address at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Betloy after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
